Save Lives Oregon partners with organizations working to support the health and well-being of their communities.

Many of our partners come to this work through public health, housing, education, youth and family services, and beyond.

Applying for State-Funded Supplies

Save Lives Oregon provides state-funded naloxone and other supplies to eligible organizations. A wide range of organizations can apply—because lifesaving work happens everywhere.

Who is Eligible?

There are two different application paths, depending on the type of organization you represent:

Community-Serving Organizations

For organizations that distribute supplies directly to community members.

Your organization may be eligible to receive state-funded naloxone and other supplies if you distribute them directly to community members and fall into one of the following categories:

Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status or fiscal sponsorship
Syringe service and harm reduction programs
Tribal health or community-based organizations
Clinics, FQHCs, or public health departments
Jails providing naloxone/supplies at release
First responders distributing supplies to community members
Substance use disorder treatment programs distributing supplies to participants

Schools and School-Based Health Centers

For schools requesting overdose response kits for onsite emergency use.

Schools and School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) can apply for opioid overdose response kits to be kept onsite and used only in the event of an overdose.

Settings must be located in Oregon or within Tribal communities. Eligible settings include:

Public school districts (applying on behalf of public schools)
Private and charter schools
Colleges and universities
School-based health centers (SBHCs)

What Happens After
you Apply?

After you submit your application:

Our team will review your application and reach out to confirm eligibility.

If eligible, you’ll receive an acceptance email from Save Lives Oregon usually within 2 weeks

You must reply to that email to confirm your acceptance – this step is required to move forward.

Once you confirm:

We’ll begin setting up your account, which may take up to 90 days.

In the meantime, you’ll be able to order naloxone right away. Your acceptance email will include a temporary order form link.

When your account is ready, you’ll receive your login info and password to watch the supply ordering training guide via email. Reach out with any questions.
